Hero frames the rolling 7-day window — always "This Week · [date range]" regardless of day visited. Consistent label avoids the editorial overhead of day-specific framing (e.g., "This Weekend Starts Now" on Friday, "Today & Tomorrow" on Saturday). 1–2 Featured Hero Events are SNA-selected (editorial pin), not auto-generated. Priority: highest attendance, strongest photography, within active date window. If no events pinned, fallback to first 1–2 from "Don't Miss" list. Card copy leads with experience, not logistics.

Four editorial groupings, SNA-curated — not auto-generated. "Don't Miss": 1–3 events, high authority, omit rather than dilute. "Opening This Weekend": new exhibitions/debuts, requires reliable opening-date metadata. "Free & Family-Friendly": depends on consistent CMS tagging. "Late-Night Picks": events past 10pm, depends on "Late Night" tag. Labels with no qualifying events collapse entirely. Governance: Requires weekly editorial update (minimum before Friday). If SNA cannot commit, default to simpler "Upcoming Events" feed.

Complete filterable event grid. Rolling 7-day window (not fixed Mon–Sun) so Sunday visitors still see a full week. Filters operate as AND logic — results must satisfy all active filters. Filter state reflected in URL query params for shareability. Day filters show actual date when possible. SNA-pinned "Don't Miss" events float to top of their date cluster (not above earlier dates). 3-col desktop / 2-col tablet / 1-col mobile. "Load More" pagination preserves scroll context. Empty state shows recovery paths (Clear Filters, View Full Calendar). Grid footer links to Full Calendar (for events beyond 7-day window) and Submit Your Event.

Journey Builder bridges event browsing and visit planning — the most important cross-section integration point on the Events side. Four sequential steps: Eat Before → See a Gallery → Drinks After → Where to Park. Horizontal flow on desktop (with connecting line), vertical stack on mobile. Launching in Mode 1 (static links only, no maintenance). Mode 2 (rotating restaurant/bar suggestions, SNA-selected) planned for Phase 2 once Section 2 editorial workflow is stable.
